Yes, I know it's St. Patrick's Day, but you've got to read the astonishing letter of St. Paul, hitherto unknown, discovered by blogger Larry D at Acts of the Apostasy. It's a crying shame that this little early church disappeared; I hear their after-Mass fellowship of beer and chocolate coins was legendary.

Sure an' they did, so I'm told, but they found no such thing--'twas exceeding strange, but the gold had gone missing as well, as if somebody had been pilferin' the money pots...

As I recall, when the wee folk become obnoxious, it is common in many stories to scare them away with holy water. Obviously those who joined this church would neither need nor dread such threats.
